An Old Joke is True
Short version:
My dogs eat turnips.
Dogs don't eat turnips.
Mine do.
Dogs don't like turnips and neither do I.
They would and so would you if that's all you had in three weeks.

My buddy called me up and said he was cleaning out his freezer and was bringing me a bag of corn and greens. I love any kind of greens but I have to be careful since they're loaded with vitamin K which counteracts my rat poison.
He pulls up with a fifty pound dog food bag loaded! They're all frozen in quart and gallon bags and I don't have the freezer space for it all!
Going to the house, I put three quarts of the greens in the big rubber dog bowl. When I get in the house I shuck a dozen ears and am frying/steaming in butter. I put a quart of greens on the stove and the rest go in the freezer.
I go back out to feed the dogs and the greens in the dog bowl are gone. I throw the cold stripped cobs and the dogs take ten minutes and they're gone.
Lesson Learned? If you're a picky eater, you weren't raised right!
