    Here in Wisc. they can ticket you for driving "too slow" in the left lane. Bunch of num-nuts out there[:(!]. Claims ticketing reduces road rage incidents. Should be the law in all states[^]

    Arkansas has signs declaring that the left lane is for passing, too. Means little to governed vehicles that pass at 5 feet per mile! [}:)]

    I have done that only a few times and from a little greater distance. Had that poker hit the brakes when the lights came on, the officer would have some splainin to do when he rear ended the guy.

    We have in VA too, just don't have any Troopers to enforce it. I've "blue lighted" a few trucks over into the right lane on my way home from work because they were holding everyone else up. They know exactly what their doing. [}:)]

    I?ve gotten into arguments with these window lickers and thier claim is they have a right to lass and if you?re in a hurry you should have left earlier.

    It is pure arrogance and ignorance that these goonbahs driving those governed trucks block traffic. This is also ELOGS working for us, now they race the clock and are scared to death to lift that throttle.

    Since violence today is looked down upon as barbaric and no longer socialy acceptable the only other thing we have is you cops hammering thier asses with a stack of tickets. I would love nothing more than to see these damned steering wheel holders lose thier licenses, I have no cares or worries about thier employment status and am sick and tired of people creating a situation then claiming to be a victim. Hammer them, write those tickets and place them in the granny lane where they belong. If your truck cannot do the speed limit you have no business in any lane but the right lane when there is traffic present.

    And if you really want to see ignorance and arrogance go to GA or FL in the three lane roads with 70MPH speed limits and watch those ass munches cruise that middle lane for hundreds of miles. Trucks are not allowed in the far left lane but a lot of us have no choice to get around these ignorance knuckle dragging slobbering goons .

    I would still like to drag them from thier trucks and smash thier faces into the side of thier sleepers [:(!]

    Situation: The following traffic description is the norm for mile after seemingly endless mile, what do you do? Speed limit is seventy-five. Two lane Interstate highway, very sparse traffic. Both vehicles in the fast lane and on cruise control - one mile or so apart when they come into view of one another. The lead vehicle is running at 75/the speed limit and coming up on slower traffic in the right lane. The speeding vehicle is coming up fast. The left lane is smooth, and the right lane is rough, with an occasional semi/other type vehicle running at a slower speed. Again, this situation is the norm, mile after seemingly endless mile. What would you do if you are the driver of the lead vehicle, continue on to pass the vehicles on the right, or break your speed...shake, rattle, and roll, to give way to the speeding vehicle?

    Didn?t say I would, it is nice to daydream and picture them sitting beside thier truck sobbing with a broken nose!

    BTW, just because I?m a truck driver does not mean I like truck drivers, some of todays truck drivers couldn?t hold a job flipping burgers and now they pilot 80,000#s down th highway. Truck driving, the perfect carreer for the chronicaly unemployable!

    Again, while I may voice opinions and thoughts does not mean I would act upon them, I have too much to lose to risk it over some dweeb driving a truck.

    That's good, a lot of truckers will yield only if they don't have enough room to change lanes so as to not have to break their speed due to the vehicle in front of them.

    Slower traffic should yield, irregardless of the speed limit. Move over and let the speeding vehicle go by and then move back over when it's time to pass a slower vehicle. Impeding the flow of traffic has little to do with the speed limit. The left lane is for passing, if your slowing others down you need to get over and let them by. If I am rolling along in my personal vehicle and am passing it's in the left lane. If I see someone coming up behind me I move over and let them by, I don't impede them and take the attitude that I was there first.

    I 59 in north Alabama is so rough in the right lane I keep left as much as I can. FIX the road!
