still battery problems...........update.....

posted a while back about my game camera eating batteries, get 3-4 days tops on new set batteries. Sent the camera back last year for doing the same thing, moultrie sent me a replacement even though I was a week out of warranty. it was fine the rest of last year about 3 months on same set of batteries. put it out about 3 weeks ago and can't get more than 3 days of pictures then batteries die. I have tried duracell, energizer, and last bunch was duracell max, none went more than 3-4 days.

It is the bottom two batteries in camera that go bad, just got home brought the camera and tested them as I took them out. top four are still good show 1.56 volts
bottom two show negative -.33
and -.09
my guess something has shorted out in the wiring, gonna call moultrie monday and ask but I doubt the will warrant the replacement camera, we will see, If they don't it will be my last moultrie, got a stealth camera on my sons stand haven't had problem in 3 years, think this will be my next one.

    Don't mention that they've already replaced it once. They might just ask for the serial number and see it was recent, and just replace it again. Sounds like a piece of junk to me, sorry.

    Spend the coin on lithium batteries for it, if they fail junk the camera and go get a new one. This is a disposable commodity. When it gives you problems throw it away there is no sense wasting time on stuff you can't fix.

    Had the same ting happen with a Bushnell Trophy Cam. Went thru about 3 sets of batteries. Batteries would not last longer than a couple of days. E-mailed and sent back to Bushnell. They replaced it even though it was 6 months out of warranty.

    just got back from the post office, it cost $7.30 to mail camera back to moultrie, guy on phone said it would be covered under warranty, we shall see this will be my third replacement........
