Weather lady in Salt Lake said "some smoke" today. Can barely see four miles. Been smoky so long I can't smell it any more. Went nose blind to it. Can't be healthy.

Crap.... I am flying to Seattle Wed for a few days with my sons. 0 -
My wife is in Seattle as I type this. In fact, she's on an airplane TRYING to takeoff. But all flights are running late to very late due to smoke. Flight Tracker says she left the gate 45 minutes ago. Still not airborne.
They're holding all flights inbound to Seattle for up to two hours before takeoff due to low visibility. And flights already airborne are arriving 30+ minutes late.
In short, it's really ugly up there.
California smoke has now reached New England. It's affecting the whole country.
Edit to Update: Wife got airborne at 7:31 PM. Original scheduled takeoff was 6:20 pm Pacific.0 -
