No to trans in military
Finally some common sense on Transgender in the military. They are not needed..............it is like women in combat units they are not needed.
There is no value added.

Even though I agree with transgender should not allow to services, it not because they have a "disorder", but it's a long life commitment and take supply space, the meds they will need to trans. As for the "disorder", i don't see it that way, i see that they are wired differentially. Like being left handed, which I am, once people like me, were forced to write right handed while Our left hand was tied down.
Who says being transgender is being wrong? The bible? The bible was written by men, and it's meaning lost in translations. I accept a person for who they are, not what they are.

My problem with it is there is no value added. What do they bring to the table except trouble?

When I went back to the regular army and was a PLT SGT and 1SG, in my normal day I dealt with 2-5 personnel. After all the BS meetings and horse crap I had to go through the Soldiers I dealt with were all crapy soldiers.
I spent very little time with the good soldiers unless I was in the field training.
I see these Trans and g-a-y soldiers in the same light. I cannot imagine them being without all the drama and BS that the few crappy soldiers I dealt with each day brought with them.
The pot smokers, the DUI idiots, bad check writers, wife beaters, slackers, liars and just out and out chitheals every Military unit has. Then add Trans and g-a-ys to the mix..........
No Value added same with women in combat rolls, they are not needed.
If we were fighting some space aliens that were trying to eradicate humans and we needed every trigger puller we could get I would change my mind, but we are far from there.0 -
Good news.
Probably the worse decision relative to the military I have seen coming from a DEMOCRAT administration.
What it all boiled down to was enlistment, SRS, and an impromptu discharge for whatever reason. Also future VA benefits in some cases.
Taxpayers got stuck paying for the SRS and caring for any on going heath issues since the member had the surgery while in the military. Plus the military expenses for loss of a manpower position, training and recruitment.0 -
While I fully agree about NO trans in the Military. I do see a benefit of women in combat units. The are still providing a great help in dealing with Women in Muslim Countries.
You do not hear about them being out there much but guys I've talked to really appreciated having them there.0 -
