Have heard of,or shot ammo from, 406 Ammo??? They are in Stevensville.
Bought a box of their ammo from Selway Armory local,for wifes new S&W.
Went to range tonight a put 140 rnds. of it through her gun. Feeds great,fires consistent. Can not feel or hear a round being stronger or lighter than any other. Burns real clean,WAY cleaner than blazer or American eagle ammo. Casings all ejected very well and consistent. Real happy with it's performance. I know 140 rounds is not a lot,but first impressions you know.

    i think i know the building, son takes the voc-ed classes on a field trip there.everybody gets an inert 50 cal bullet as a gift. they do a crap loading for various companies. i have not shot any that i know was made there. EDIT i am incorrect. son takes his classes to "The Hunting Shack" and HSM ammo

    Seems like that's where BVAC was at one point. I wonder if they just changed names?

    HSM ammo is made by "The Hunting Shack" company on east side highway. address is 4406 rathburn lane, stevensville..owner is Bill Campbell

    the pro loading service looks to be on the south end of stevi, i estimate near the farm/feed store..i was unaware of this. maybe monday i can go over there and find out more of their history. its only 10 minutes or so
