This is the first I've ever heard of the great Irish elk. But after Googling it, this looks like it was a small one0 -

Once upon a time I visited Ireland and saw more than one Irish Elk skull and antlers. I have to agree that the one shown here is rather small. They are impressive. 0 -

Yes they do have a class for "picked up"but as I said before, after Google it. This one seems to be pretty small compared to others that's why I said that it's doubtful. But it's still an impressive find, and probably worth a few bucks. No pun intended
Plus they probably don't have a class for great Irish elk because they are extinct0 -

Amazing, I have read about them and seen some artists renditions of how they thought they looked, but that is cool to see an actual.
Bet they were really majestic to see on the hoof.
Wonder if they whistled like an Elk, grunted like a moose or roared like a Stag/Red Deer?
And FYI, Boone and Crockett only recognizes North America Big game, have use toSafari Club International and see if they have a extinct animal category #129312;
