I must be lucky -1911?s
After several years of not owning a 1911, I bought a used Para Ordinance LTC .
Factory ammo was pricey so I started reloading for it. Different bullets, powders, loads.
Never a misfire or any problem.
Got a new Colt stainless Gold Cup and had the same results. I even loaded down some Bullseye loads to 3.6 grains. Never loaded any full house loads, however.
I have now a SR 1911 and another Colt. Probably 3000 rounds of reloads and nary a hiccup.
I might next get a Kimber to see how my luck holds out.
