Night Sight ?

Which is the best night sights? Tricon or Dayglow.

The day glow i saw was fiber optic in the day and they light up at night so you have the best of both worlds it seems.

I do not know anyone who has Dayglo sights.

I have 3 pistols that need tricon sights replaced.[:(]

    For both my duty weapon and EDC I use Tru-Glo TFX Pro?s. Fiber optic day (orange front/green rear) and tritium night. Just a personal preference, but worth a look. Great sight acquisition day and night.

    I'm going to try these on my next carry gun purchase. They really look like the best of both worlds for day time, low light and night shooting situations.

    As long as you ignore cancer...

    Radium does a fantastic job (rip madam Curie)

    I have a WWII wristwatch - a Hamilton chronograph with hand painted radium hands and Mark points purportedly used by the OSS that still glows brightly in the dark - but I don't wear it and is stored in a lead lined envelope (estate sale score)

    I do like the fiber optic Williams fire sights for low light conditions

    I have two pistols were the night sights no longer glow

    Trijicon (spelling???) Seems solid

    Brownells sells a night sight restoration or touch up paint I think...

    Food for thought - they now have an automotive quality paint like substance that when supplied with electrical power illuminates very brightly - saw it on the side mirror housings on a Chevy truck shown at sema...

    If they could use that on sights and supply power through a button or wafer battery it would be amazing

    And slightly off topic I have a set of crimson trace red laser grips and a shotgun tube magazine cap that contains a battery and a green emitter that are great in the dark to illuminate point of aim on a target

    When it's dark go shotgun - easier to hit your target

    They?re a pretty slick set up Shilowar. I bet you?ll like ?em. Any chance you could talk the mfg. into comping you a few sets to try out for your agency?

    I said dayglow but i meant tru glo. I can not remember things like i should.[:(]
