Yes, there are some people that are incarcerated that are actually innocent because the evidence points towards them. But they are few and far between.
Plus anybody that wants to make Bail can make bail as long as they have a job. If they chose a life at leisure before they were arrested and can't afford bail, why should they be let out on their own recognizance. They have proven their not contributing to society to begin with.

These same leftists are pushing to decriminalize driving on a suspended license, and income based fines for traffic violations. Their argument is that flat rate traffic fines disproportionately punish the poor because the "rich", which is anyone who is middle class and up can easily afford to pay fines, therefore aren't really punished.
