I truly wish he would have caught up to him before the cops did. it would have saved the taxpayers a lot of money taking these scumbags to trial and incarcerating them. Plus they would not have lived to kill any more dogs... 0 -
Well he didn't torture them or kill them so I suppose it wasn't any worse than killing someone else's dog in front of them. Actually I'd have probably ended up in jail for doing worse. 0 -

I feel so sorry for that guy. I can relate to having a dog that means the world to you. I cannot relate to having it shot.
I cannot imagine the feelings that would go through me if that happened to one of my dogs. Like his mine are Golden Retriever and they are harmless, friendly lovable dogs and they wander all over my place.
The lord said and eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth. If someone did that to me I would not want to be in their shoes. I keep a sjambok in my truck and I would not hesitate to use it on some sicko like the dog killers.0 -

That is Old Testament, Jesus taught differently. It would be hard to not bring on Old Testament judgment. I do try to be Christian. It is the narrow path.

An "eye for an eye" does not mean a man's life for a dog.
It is surprising how many people here do not recognize the difference.

I consider the life of my Dog above many of the people I have met in my life. My dog brings nothing but happiness and joy to my life and the lives of several other people. They give love unconditionally.
One thing you need to understand is this type of behavior leads to other violence and is a marker for a severe character flaw.
Do you have a dog? If so would you say the life of your dog is worth less than say Nidal Malik Hasan? I know I wouldn't.
You have to remember I never said I would kill them. I just would like to work them over with a sjambok and make them crawl and wail in pain then they would know how I felt.0 -

I need to understand and I need to remember nothing you have mentioned in weighing the relative values of a man, and a dog.
But I do think that you should consider the warnings against seeking your own wrath, rather than either justice and mercy.
You can disagree all you want regarding the reading of scripture and the Mosaic law.
But neither the Law, nor the Prophets, nor the Gospel of Grace will support you.
