    Going to the range next week with my chrono...I'll have to do some velocity tests if possible....I have a 5inch barrel 1911...my buddy has a 3inch xd.

    About 100 fps per inch.

    Those micro 45's loose enough speed to keep a HP from expanding.

    If you have a 3" .45, always be sure to get 2" closer to your target before shooting.
