Ebola hits Sweden

Looks like some guy walked into a hospital in Sweden puking blood.

A person believed to have contracted ebola is being held in isolation at Sweden's Uppsala University Hospital, the regional authority said on Friday.

Uppsala chief medical officer confirmed the patient was vomiting blood, a symptom of the fatal disease.

They were admitted to Enkoping hospital before being transferred to Uppsala, to their infection clinic.

    A guy is being treated in Nebraska that may possibly have been exposed to it when he was in the Congo. He has been placed in quarantine...

    I would guess that this patient and all the people he has been in contact with are being checked out in a very big hurry!

    It is amazing how many can be infected by a cough or a sneeze especially in crowded places!

    how fkng stupid is it to trail a potential infection from AFRICA to the middle of AMERICA..why not send all the meds an such required down there and limit worldwide exposure???? AfRICA to SWEDEN INSANE ????

    Sweden's citizens had a life style at the top or near the top of any country in the world 30 years ago.

    Then they (their government) got the idea Sweden could SAVE the world and embarked on a suicidal path to help the world obtain what they had. Has NOT worked out for them but just recently the light of day (being voted out) has dawned on them (the political elite) and Swedens path should take a sharp turn to the right, PDQ.

    Knew a few Swedes 25+ years ago and although nice people their thinking was all messed up when it came to the Swedish selfless giving, including giving away their country ruining their country only took 25 years.

    Lucky it appears the patient does NOT have ebola but what did he have?

    I have not read anywhere about the guy in Nebraska who was exposed if he has tested positive or not.

    I just read that over 600 people in DRC have it and the centers where they are being treated have come under attack by Rebels.

    This time. Who knows what new horrible plague "undocumented immigrants" could be bringing to ANY country? That is precisely why we built Ellis Island, and also why such measures are not just important but vital today.

    I guess Barz thinks I am hysterical but I have seen 1st hand what this crap does.

    Since Burundi shares a border with the DRC and that border it shares is also the location of SOME of the ebola cases and a Guy walks into a hospital after being with in 200 miles of an ebola breakout and starts puking blood......oh and several of the ebola treatment centers were attacked and people with ebola ran away and were not recovered........There is no way he could have had ebola too.

    If you see anyone with, or have any of these symptoms, take two aspirins and immediately call your funeral home.

    Gross, make sure no kids are around if they are, lie to them, tell them it's only in AFRICA no one would be stupid enough to allow it into the U.S.
