Isn't any thing coming from an attorney/client meeting protected by the attorney/client privilege and against the law for anyone especially the government investigators from releasing it? I would think that any evidence coming from Trump's attorney would not be admissible because it would be "Fruit of a poison tree" and everything would have to be totally inadmissible and anyone leaking it should do jail time especially the attorney.
What's next, the government recording the meetings that attorneys have with clients and using anything said against them or allowing the police to water board suspects?
We have a swamp in Washington because people will elect and re-elect politicians that have proven to have no ethics simply because they are from a certain political party. I don't know if term limits would help but it sure couldn't hurt.0 -
The tape was released by Cohen's lawyer, Laney Davis. So, Trump could make a case that his right to confidentiality had been violated by Cohen & Davis. But, Trump did nothing illegal, so this would be a tort case, not a criminal one.
They may have an agreement from the Southern District NY to protect them.

i don't think it really matters what you think the left does, it does not change the accountability that all in power should be held to as no one is above the law, no matter what excuses are made.
