How do I get rid of emails from my phone. I mean delete them all. The wife had it set up for emails that I never use. I use my phone for making & receiving calls & texts. There is about 8000 emails backed up in there. The only way I can see is one at a time delete. It's an Iphone 5 by the way. I stopped at the cell store I got it from & they were no help, Just wanted to sell me a new phone. Never been there without leaving wanting to twist their necks off.

    Ok how is it I can talk on this phone forever but texting drains the battery quick?? It's the 3GS and everyone else I talked to is the same that have different or the same iPhone

    Bring up your emails. Top right will say edit , hit that and a little round circle will appear before each email. Just hit each round circle before each email and when they are all highlighted hit delete. It will get rid of them all at once.

    I don't see a delete button, just cancel at the top & mark, move, & trash at the bottom.

    Just find any 6 year old kid. Tell him what you need and he will fix you right up!

    Trash is the same as delete.

    But, be careful. Depending upon how your email is set up, you may receive them both on your home computer AND on your iphone. If they are synched, deleting everything in your iphone inbox will also delete them from your home computer.

    If there is nothing of any real importance on Your phone maybe do a reset to factory settings.Then You can start a fresh and put whatever You want back onto it

    I would just delete the email account from that phone as long as you know there isn't anything in it that you want to keep.

    Go to settings on main screen. Then email settings. Remove that email Acct

    Now you won?t get anymore but you still will have to delete then. On the list of emails just swipe the email to the left then hit archive or delete
