Attention: seller highcapglock
The Browning Take Down 22LR that you currently have listed and its "missing" serial number.
Take the barrel off and look at the front end of the receiver just below the barrel thread. It should be stamped there. Normally the serial number is also stamped on the butt end of the stock which can be seen by removing the butt plate.
The historians at the Browning Museum in Utah should be able to give you a general time frame as to when your rifle was manufactured.
They told me that the rifle that I have had for 60 years this Christmas was manufactured during 3rd quarter of 1958.
