I'm ticked off

I went out just at dusk to check the pork butts on the grill for pulled pork tomorrow. I saw something just in front of a corn field at about 120 yards. Grabbed the binoculars, and sure enough, a coyote. By the time I grabbed a rifle and had it loaded it was gone.

We have gotten 4 since Christmas. I saw my first rabbits in the yard in several years this week. Thought I was getting ahead. Gotta double down and put up a blind I guess.

As the road runners used to say - meep meep!

    I got to work this morning, and discovered that my employer has now blocked any gun-oriented forum as "weapons related." They have a right to control my computer use on the job, of course, but here's what gets me...

    ...who defines what is "weapons related?" How do they tell? Certain buzz words? And...

    ...is this yet another step in demonizing gun culture? Your thoughts, please.

    And, I guess this means RR will be slightly less visible on GB. Until I retire, which will make me a full-time gun nut, like most of you.

    I keep 5 handguns throughout the house loaded and 1 22 rifle loaded along with 1 22 pistol with bird shot.

    I keep 1 shotgun loaded and 1 rifle loaded in case of emergency. All of the long guns are kept in a safe that opens fast.

    I keep the 17 in a closet near the door, but the grandkids were over so I keep the magazine in a high up kitchen cabinet when they are around.

    I may try a call, see if I can cut down on their numbers.

    And for extra measure you can get a squirrel tail or even a few feathers and put it on a fishing pole and just tug it some for movement they will come looking at some5ing other than you
