Mountain flying is without a doubt one of the most dangerous types of flying for a helo. Couple in the possible ever changing wind conditions from varying angles, the possibility for a mini avalanche from disturbing the snow, the added possibility of inducing a rolling moment with that type of flying and you can't see where you are backing up that booty.

Yeah...that was some pretty ballsy flying....to bad it wasn't some hot chick they were rescuing...at least then the crew might have got a kiss out of the deal![}:)][:p]

Seriously...mad props to that crew.

Read the whole story. Suicidal man changed his mind got scared and called for help, risking everyone's lives.

Bet that thing was a real handful. The higher they fly the less stable they are.
