Finally got through to Testors office
Didn?t have to talk to a machine this time!
Had a conversation with Senator Testors office this morning, spoke to one of his aids for about 10 minutes.
The claim is Testor does not oppose Kavenaugh due to the recent allegations and resulting witch hunt but stems around privacy, ?dark money? and the Patriot act.
I told him I?m a registered Republican and have considered coting for him but my issue is this,
If the Dems take control this November we all know Trump is finished and will be just a figure in the whitehouse, he will never get anything passed.
That also means no more nominees for the SC.
I explained to him that Pelosi and Schumer will see to it that a political activist is seated and my main reason for wanting Kavenaugh seated is to protect the SC from the radical left.
I also said that the episode last week proves just how radical the left is and if I was to vote for a Dem he needs to prove that he is not siding with the radicals.
Who is the Republican running against Testor? Looks like I?ll be voting for him because Testor sure don?t sound like he will change his mind

I read a little about him and his stance on certain policies and he seems like a fairly conservative guy.

Even though I?m a transplant and I?ll sound like a hypocrite for saying this but the blue state transplants are changing Montana. Mote and more left leaning libs are moving in and taking over. We have a Dem governor and correct me if I?m wrong but Montana voted for obamma I think.

You mean like McCain and Flake?
Yeah, voting party line is ignorant no matter who you are. Vote for the best qualified or "none of the above", if you want a clean conscience.
Kavanagh is not conservative. He does have a family and he does enjoy competition that is is only saving grace. But if the man won't vote or stand up to illegal persecution of himself, he has no business on the highest court.
The republicans deserve to lose every race coming up. They have had the majority in the house senate and a sitting president and still don't have the balls to do what is right.
Lesser of two evils is not going to work. The Republicans have proven time and again they are not for the people. Just a ruse to slowly take away our liberties until we have no will to fight. Screw that. Let the system fail NOW, while we still have a fighting chance.
BSR, next time you talk to the representatives, ask them how they would feel if someone leveled false malicious allegations without proof. Ask him how his political career would look if someone from his past made up stories about him just before the election. Ask him how he would feel if the media then blasted the false allegation, uncorroborated allegations all over the media.
Remind him that the media loves scandals.
Remind him that both sides can play that game and it serves no one to abuse the process, but that to get the end result justifies ruining peoples lives. Tell him he is next. He has no immunity.
It's like ransom, if you never pay ransom, people won't kidnap. The republicans caved to the extortion, and those who did or supported changing the process need to resign.0 -
The problem is most politicians are worthless scum. There are a few good ones but they are quickly turned by the money and power.
We need term limits and low salary for politicians with no medical and monetary perks after office.
Maybe pay them at a Majors(O-5) salary while active and let them use tricare and the VA like retirees after their 2 terms. But no pension for life. Limit their staff to say 5 and have their stat provide transportation.0 -
2nd Amendment
I will always defend our Second Amendment Rights. The Constitution couldn?t be clearer: ?The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.?
Just like I did in Helena, I will always protect our right to own a gun and fight back against any attempt from Washington bureaucrats to take them away. Right now, our Montana way of life is under assault and you deserve a U.S. Senator who you can count on to defend our right to keep and bear arms. Our Second Amendment Rights are not up for negotiation - period!
