Trump announced he is working on a sixth branch of the military. After the Topeka rally, he called Judge Janine and spoke with her.
He said they talked about putting it in the Air Force but decided it would not get the priority if it was under another branch.
Wonder how the rest of the world will think about it.
Air superiority won wars, and now we are taking it the next step. Will Nato or other countries try to block us?

Good luck to other countries blocking something the U.S. does to assure the safety of its citizens. The U.S. is a sovereign nation. Plus exactly who or what group will "block" the U.S.?
What the U.S. needs to worry about is its elected officials blocking or refusing to enforce priority items that keeps its citizens safe.
Like:
Unconstitutional gun laws to outright repeal of the 2nd amendment.
Not enforcing our immigration laws.
Not securing our borders.
Not removing illegal drug smugglers and gang members.
Reducing necessary funding for the military.
Allowing sanctuary cities.
Not cooperating with federal immigration authorities.

I was active duty when Star Wars bankrupted the USSR. China may go all out with antisat devices, but our allies will want to buy or build under license the inevitable technological breakthroughs and possibly devote resources to solving mechanical roadblocks.
Russia is Capitalist and there is no profit in a smoking radioactive world. If the Democrats would get off their ass, we could split up the world once China is contained.

Space program was a great thing in my opinion. This might advance that, albeit, with military objective. Some of that technology should filter into travel and other civilian aapplications.0 -

I am thinking a good size magnifying glass that can be adjusted to focus to wherever on earth you want to aim the output beam. Like frying ants, or starting a fire. Let the sun be its power source.
