Trump was blamed as 'complicate' in the guaranteed Category 5 Hurricane Florence strike of the Carolina coast.
Now that it is just above tropical storm status as it reaches the coast, can we ratchet back the rhetoric, or do we have to endure the 3 day news cycle for what amounts to a very large rain storm, just because we have the investment up front?
Edit: From my understanding, 70 people did have to be ?pulled from a collapsing hotel?.

10/15 ?? years ago a hurricane made landfall on the Texas Coast relatively near Houston. Next day rain quit so drove around to see any damage, flooded streets etc.
The was a NEWS CREW filming on the main drag in front of the Galleria Shopping Mall. The reporter was LEANING into the wind like the gusts might knock him over.
There was no rain, VERY LITTLE WIND, sunny and no gusts. TOTALLY FAKE NEWS, although there wasn't a name for it because Trump hadn't given it a name.[:D]0 -

It appears that as of 1:00 pm Eastern Time, the maximum sustained wind speed of Florence would put it into the Tropical Storm vs. Hurricane category.
While this does not do much for the people who are looking a raising flood waters, it seems that most news outlets are hanging onto the 'hurricane' label for some reason.0 -
