Back in the ?70?s, West Virginia law required handguns to be locked in a compartment outside of the vehicle driver?s reach?

If I remember right it was, while in a vehicle handgun was to be in a locked box with ammo separate and unaccesable to driver. not sure it has changed, but with the new concealed carry for anyone law, it would not need to be locked up if over 21. just my understanding though I am no lawyer 0
