    Thank you for asking,I have about six inches of water on the street in front of my house and some water creeping up in the back yard but so far the house and most of the yard is ok. So far so good. [:)]

    Ricci they say the River crested yesterday in Wilmington. It set a record in your town.

    The river, expected to crest in Wilmington on Tuesday, set a record Monday when it reached 22.54 feet in the town of Burgaw, 25 miles to the north.

    "The river will continue to rise in the coming days," the National Weather Service said. "Stay safe, river flooding is still a major concern!"

    Thanks man. The water is still slowly rising but hopefully it will begin to recede soon. The Marines hovered over the house this afternoon in a helicopter offering me a ride but I?m still good. Got plenty of water and getting ready to use my Swiss Army knive to open a can of beans for supper. Life is good. [:)]

    Bro, you turned down a Chopper ride/extraction? Those are always a good time. You could have been hoisted up, looked at them and said, "Can you drop me off at Sonic? I have some coupons."
