Winchester 70 WSM scope base?
I have both long and short action one piece weaver base mounts for a wsm and neither fit ... I have two piece base but I prefer to use one piece Does anybody make one piece base that fits these... ??

According to the Warne website the WSM models have a slightly different length. The Warne model M677M looks like the one I'd get if I had a WSM.

I have a 270 Win model 70 (L/A) that wears one of Warnes' single piece steel bases and I love it. 'Solid as a rock' is an understatement.

Not sure about your short magnum but have a hand full of pre-64 model 70's and I believe they all have Redfield JR-70 one piece bases where you use dowel rod and rotate front ring to lock it in. They are built like a tank. Redfield rings came in three heights. Never ever had a problem and perfect fit on the bridge. 0 -
yeah, the WSM holespacing is between the old long action and short action spacing 0 -
