just back from voting.........
the line at early voting was at least half hour or more all week. went out to poll this morning only two other folks there. they couldn't find them on roster so let me go ahead, I was first to vote, in and out in 4 minutes, had to laugh at those early voters who waited in line all week...........[;)]

not sure EBT is legal, but I was happy to see you had to show ID to vote, and they did accept my VA card as ID....0 -

2 precincts using the same scanner, I was number 969. They had posted that there were 500 something early votes just in my precinct. They had a big stack of mailed in ballots and were still opening envelopes.
About 40 in front of us and about 60 in line when we left. I had my 81 year old mother with me, she took awhile longer than I did. So I sit outside and watched folks, polite crowd really.0 -
My wife and I voted Tuesday of last week; no waiting. It was so easy we decided to get our Flu shots on the way back home; something needed to be painful! [:D] 0 -
Just got back from voting I was #695, that is the highest I have ever seen it and that was at 1030.
Took about 10 min to get through the line and 10 min to fill out the ballot.
I voted straight R,
against all bonds that will raise my property taxes,
against all the amendments to the state Constitution except Voter ID(Which has passed once before not sure what happened to it)

they have always made me show my drivers licenses before I vote and check there list . I did not realize everyone did not have to show a photo ID for many years .

I am a registered voter and they just ask for my last name, then my first, then my address. Did not ask for ID. I am in favor of ID requirement.
I can assure you that voter fraud took place as always. Interesting that every case I hear about where they caught voter fraud it was votes for democrats.

I gave every cent I could spare to try to help the Republican candidates but have to admit on my income it likely only bought lunch.
I was getting 30 to 50 e-mails a day asking for funds. Sometimes up to 10 copies of the same e-mail in a day.
I still take issue with campaigns spending 10's of millions of dollars to get a 6 year job that pays less than $200,000 a year.
Like Beto in Texas having $70 million dollar fund. You suppose some folks might expect a favor or two for that kind of funding ? That much didn't come from folks like me and you.0 -
when I voted in the primaries I was told that I would have to show an id for November. it took a while Monday, but I finally found my voters registration card.
walked in to vote yesterday with my card in hand and the same people that know me and been there for years, told me that was no good I had to show my drivers license0
