Been a couple tough weeks around here
In the last 2 weeks I've lost 2 neighbors, a deer hunting buddy, and a highschool classmate. 2 dropped dead in apparent good health, one died in his sleep, and the last one had some major mental health issues and froze to death in his car.

I think the hardest one of the bunch was my deer hunting buddy. I knew this guy since he was a kid, he died at 42. 0 -

Sorry for your loss. I?ve lost so many friends, mostly in the prime of life. I get to reminiscing about things in the past and suddenly I realize ?gosh, he?s been dead 25 years, now.?
Sometimes it?s like the old gentleman at the end of The Green Mile. My punishment is to live to see all my friends die before me.0 -
To me, the worst thing about getting older is losing your friends. I've lost many more friends than I have left. [:(] 0 -

Yep he touched ALOT of lives. 10 years in the Marines, he was a Drill Instructor for 23 months finishing that as the head DI. Did a couple deployments in the sandbox. Went to the Army Guard full time retiring 4 years ago as a E-9. He was one squared away guy. 0
