Got the FLU Shot Today

Looking forward to hearing the little girls here whine about having the flu in November. [:p]

There's a new shingles shot out since last year. Doc doesn't have it yet, but if you got the old shot, you should get the new one when available.

I've never had shingles, but I've been told it's like diabetic nerve pain that doesn't go away after a few seconds.

    So they say. Seen to many employees get the shot and get the flu. They are mandatory now but still employees still get it. Factors are many/

    Next week they will be available at the local VA the flu shot for sure.

    So will get mine next Friday when I have my annual.

    Got the flu shot last week & didn't feel a thing. Got a shot for pneumonia the week before & my arm was sore later.
    I have gotten what some doctors have said was shingles several times over the last forty years but others say it can't be because there is almost no pain.

    Which version of the flu shot should a person like myself be seeking out, since there are so many it seems?

    I was planning on just getting whatever my docs office is giving, but if one is preferred over the other, I will seek it out.

    You do know that anyone with a temp is counted in this "study" LOL--I know, this to be a fact. But hey, what's a pandemic without high numbers.
    Keep cutting and pasting government numbers. friggen funny dung right there.
