just got call from wife.........
got to meet her at 2:00 at her doctors office, seems her doctor told her we were at risk and recommended a hepatitus A shot. seems cracker barrel had outbreak with an employee. that is the 3rd restraunt in town, little ceasers, and taco bell. damn now its not even safe to eat out. we had eaten there twice in month before it was confirmed. I liked their breakfast and it was on the way to cabin when we went out to the country. seems I'll be making my own bacon and eggs from now on.

Hillbille Prayers everything is ok.
A few years after chemo my liver was failing from not having any antibodies to fight bad stuff. At work i got shots for hepatitis because i worked in the most nasty stuff they had. Pits and a wastewater pond. Come to find out my liver doctors gave me the shots again its a set of 3 about a month apart.
I was one of three that could work their. I do not know the cost of the shots though.
If i were you and your wife i would ask for that shot because it protects from hep A,B and C.
Might as well get the best protection you can.0 -

HepA is nothing to sneeze at!! Back in the mid '60's my family was quarantined for about a month, along with the 4 other households that shared the same water table where all of the wells were contaminated!
The cause of the contamination was said to be from sewage runoff from just up the hill from our homes. An orchard where migrant workers utilized outhouses provided by the farmer.[xx(]
I was the first in my family to get sick and the rest of my siblings followed within a week. All white eyeballs turned yellow, and all spent a week in the hospital. Missed school from Thanksgiving that year, until after the New Year vacation break.
Ended up having to have a new well drilled. Much deeper this time.
On a side note, I am not allowed to give blood on account of this.0 -

Who sued the farmer and how much did he have to pay?

My folks did not sue anyone, nor did any of our neighbors. We did have an uncle in the well drilling business and he took care of us with his family plan.[:)]
