TRY TO FIND A BPCR (BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE RIFLE)MATCH, YOUR M-71 MIGHT BE TOO NEW.

I have heard of such combined efforts for muzzleloaders.
A guy here recently went to a shoot with an aggregate of standing, prone with cross sticks, and bench.

BPCR metallic silhouette shoots the chickens offhand and the rest of the targets off cross sticks, no bench.

I think some scheutzen competition is done both bench and offhand.

I don't know of anything with more modern rifles, but some local range might have an outlaw match with about anything.

A lot depends on your definition of "fun." Most matches I have shot, the word would be "challenge."

IBS (International Benchrest Shooters assoc) have factory class matches in benchrest. actually, they are run during the same relays as other classes. It is nothing to have LV (light varmint) HV (Heavy Varmint) HC (Hunter Class) and F (Factory) shooters all on the same firing line.

I have shot some factory class matches in Bridgeville DE, even won a 2 day shoot in factory class[8D]
