How Do You Feel About Two Items In the News Today!
I am a Democrat and proud of it! What do all you Republicans think about this ABOMINATION your Conress just past they call Tax Relief? You know how I feel!
#2 How do you feel about your President now allowing the importation of dead elephants?
I just want to hear the other side of things. I cannot for the life of me figure out how if you are Middle Class making under $150,000 a year you would be for this? If you think big Corporations are going to pass it down, I have this bridge between the UP and LP of Michigan I will give you a good deal on! How can you be a Fiscal Coservative and just increase the deficit by 1500 Billion Dollars to give rich people more money! There is 0 proof or evidence Trickle Down Economics works? Did not work in 1987 Why now? Unemployment is at 4% now. Even if you by some miracle did stimulate our economy you are going to throw us into massive inflation! I am not trying to be a troll but cannot understand why anyone is for this.
Finally I hunt a few pheasants but LOVE endangered elephants. They are of no use extinct! They are majestic animals!

If a man making $80,000 a year saves $800 a year that's a 1% savings. If a man making $800,000 a year saves $4,000 a year that is 0.5% savings.
So, did the $800,000 a year man save 1/2 as much as the $80,000 a year man, or did he save 5 times as much?
Which would help your finances the most, saving 1% in taxes or saving 0.5% in taxes? In the scenario above, who do you think it helps the most?0 -

Our government is borrowing money to operate, then gives away billions as 'foreign aid'. I don't know of any people or businesses that operate that way.

So, did the $800,000 a year man save 1/2 as much as the $80,000 a year man, or did he save 5 times as much?

My ol' my....where to start;
Lets start with taxes...my wife and I have a combined income of around 63K, lower middle class for sure. So my marginal tax rate is 15%. Now lets add another 10-11% for combined FICA and Medicare taxes.
So 25-26 cents out of every dollar is gone right off the bat, before I ever pay a bill or purchase a gallon of gas or a bag of groceries.
Oh but wait it gets better, for every gallon of gas I purchase here in Washington State I get to pay a combined (state and federal)62.9 cents in taxes and all I get in return is corrupt unresponsive government and crappy roads. Oh wait, I forgot, our sales tax for this area is 9.1%. Did I forget anything....HHHMMMM....let me think, OH YEAH....I have property taxes to deal with every 6 months and it went up almost 30% from last year and I live in a mobile home out in the boondocks. I'm not listing the myriad of taxes one finds on their bills. Good god almighty, what's left???? Hold on a sec, that horse is still breathing, WHACK IT A FEW MORE TIMES!!!
At least Trump is attempting to do something. He just doesn't realize what he's up against when it comes to the repub's and the dim's, two parties that are rotten and corrupt to the core, who are beholden to special interests, owned by K street lobbyist's, and feel they are above the law.
You want fairness in the tax code, do away with all of it and go to a flat 10% consumption tax. That's it, everyone pays, no exceptions, no deductions, everyone has a dog in the hunt. WOW, no IRS needed because all taxes would be collected at the POS. How much money would that save, how many data breaches would be avoided. No more having 47% not paying any income taxes at all. A lot less accountants, tax firms, and lawyers, how sweet would that be. Oh yeah and while we're at it end all subsidies period. It'll never happen because politician's, democrats and republicans both, like power and control and are loathed to give it up. They're two sides of the same coin. To hear one state that they're "FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE" but "SOCIALLY LIBERAL" brings on hysterical laughter because it's such a contradiction. Not to mention pure blather. Obama accumulated more debt in 8 years than all other presidents combined. In fact over 90% of the national debt can be laid at the feet of 3 presidents....Clinton, Bush (43), and Obama. Great job fellas, living proof you can't fix stupid.
And lets not forget, both parties will figure a way to take it all back over time.....they always do.
Inflation....REALLY.....OH WAIT, MASSIVE INFLATION. Where have you been, doing any shopping lately? A half gallon of milk cost more than a gallon of gas, a loaf of brand name bread cost around $5.00 a loaf, hell store brand bread ain't cheap either. Eggs, butter, meat, utility costs have been skyrocketing for years but wait....I'm sorry, those costs aren't factored into the inflation numbers. Give me a break pal, both parties have been lying their azz's off for decades and the ultimate fools have been the American public.
Now we're on to employment....WHEW! The unemployment numbers are as phony as our currency, have been for many many years. You can't have a 62.9% labor participation rate and a 4.1% unemployment number, it's simply impossible, it's a lie. Trump stated that the actual number was between 16-23% when he was candidate Trump. Now a year later it's plummeted down to the current "reported" 4.1%. I don't think so. Both parties have dug this hole sooooo deep that they have no clue how to arrest the damage let alone fix the problem. They keep kickin the can down the road praying the whole shebang doesn't implode on their watch, so they can blame the other guys. The trains going to wreck people, it's not a question of if, it's a question of when.
And the Elephants, well go talk to the countries in Africa first, they're the ones allowing it to happen in the first place.

i thought one was elected to leadership roles in govt to take money away from people who worked and earned it...PERIOD...in my business ADD capital gains tax to land you sell, currently 19% (state & fed) of the profit....and not ONE of them ever helped me earn it...plus i paid property tax every year i owned it...i sweated this last election because one of hitlery's stated goals was raise the CG tax to 28% and of course the states raise would follow also...so i would have been forced to give away app. 1/3 of any profit...FKNG THEFT 0 -
