From my observations most people in this country are ignorant, angry, nut jobs that need to stop watching the news.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be surprised if any one of your guns has ever gotten down off the rack, loaded itself and shot anybody. ,,,and you're obviously in a high traffic area so they've had plenty of opportunity. You might point that out, but that's not what they want to hear.

Folks is crazy, Pinshooter. The cup of ignorance seems to be overflowing everywhere.

    "do I put the Leupold 4 X 14 or the 6.5 X 20 on the new rifle?"

In answer to this question, use the 6.5x20 and send the 4x14 to me!

Sounds like a few people need to be issued a NO TRESSPASS warning! Have em removed if/when they come back.

    You can't fix stupid!

And you just cannot reason with these people at ALL!! Their mindset is locked and they never had a key to begin with!

My youngest son works at a gas station\convenience store. He gets blamed for the gas prices several times a day and has been spit on and has been hit with flying loose change from disgruntled customers! I swear there are a lot of people going off the deep end.

I talked to a licensed gun dealer just yesterday who was set up this past weekend at a huge local flea market. He said a guy came by and pointed at an AR ranted about AR's being nothing but child killing guns.

Sadly, you are preaching to a dwindling choir here. The time for any chance of reasoned discussion has passed. Basically, ARs and rifles like them have become as Jed Cooper to a media-fed angry mob. There is no more talking about it; you cannot defeat emotion with logic, quell rage with calm presentation of facts. And in this case, if and when the truth does come out, it will be too late. The only option is for politicians representing our interests to be as intractable and strident as those who would oppose us. And even if they are successful, it will only increase the anger and resentment of our opposers and the divisiveness in our country.

Just simply say to the next folks that raise their voice against the AR's or anything else...you know as a licensed dealer I can refuse a sale..especially someone like you.

    Thanks for proving my point.

The people with more emotions than facts ruin a lot of things in this country. It's to the point where their leaders use their support as leverage to work their evil plots.

I don’t know what I would have said to the lady, but it some how reminds me of a story I heard about Winston Churchill.

Winston Churchill was at a hotel in London an had been drinking. He was introduced to a woman and the woman upon smelling the alcohol on Churchills breath said, “ Sir you are drunk”. ——Upon hearing this Churchill said to the woman, in typical Winston Churchill style, . “ And madam you are ugly, but tomorrow I will be sober, but you will still be ugly”.

Maybe you could have said. Madam you are ugly, but by tomorrow this AR will be sold, and you won’t have to look at it anymore, but we will still have to look at you.

Cars kill more people than guns. So you need to ask them if they are going to leave the store, get in their "Death Wagon" and kill people on the way home?

Of course it will go totally over their head.

Hard to go in any store without hearing people complain and not about guns but how prices have gone up considerably.

"One man was yelling at one of the store owners, that he will never step foot in the store again."

Option 1 (never been in the store "customer") - I'm sorry. I don't know who your are. Have you ever been in this store before now?

Option 2 (existing customer) - I am so sorry to hear that. I will close your charge account immediately. Thank you for being a customer. I hope you can find another store to satisfy your needs.

Option 3 (just to be a smart *** and assuming they are an otherwise healthy individual) - Our policy is to put both feet in the store and not enter the store with only one foot. If you only put one foot in the door, we will assume you intend to block the door and will ask you to leave.

Embolden fools. Talking trash at people with guns. I wonder if people would roll up to Mike Tyson and start mocking his way of speaking? When they need the guys with guns, I hope the they will stop and get donuts and coffee first.

My method is if a store has a department that sells something I don't care for I don't visit that department don't know why that won't work for others

I am very sorry about that! I own many guns and believe in the Second Amendment . Although on this forum I am a minority as I have no problem with gun regulations that protect us all! The Second Amendment was written in the 1780s. Should an 18-year old unstable kid or one that is a devout racist go in buy AR-15s merely because of something written when they had flintlocks? I am a grandfather of 5 kids that go to public school, and the father of a kindergarten teacher. I hate the thought of guns in school! Really?

I assist with Mass at Church and it is a truly sad day when we have to consider locking the doors, for fear some nut will walk in with a gun! We need to really listen to each other and be willing to compromise and come together!

Maybe we should hav common sense 'nut' control before banning something that is essential to guaranteeing our freedoms?

you hit the nail on the head when you said ,,, UNSTABLE, but that is a word they don't want to hear and surely will never bring back the mental institutions for those people..... but it is still no reason to penalize the rest of us honest folks because they want the crazy ones walking the streets.

The gun grabbing Fudds don't care about the rights of the law abiding. They just want to "do something" our rights away because of some self loathing, self hatred that comes with being the betas they are. They already "have all the guns they need" and never mind about the next generation that's still trying to arm themselves in an increasingly dangerous world.

The list of places I've chosen never to return to is fairly long. And I'm content to leave it at that.

The owner has the RIGHT to refuse anyone, esp if he/she thinks they are unstable. Please tell us how raising the age to 21 will stop anything! Sandy hook was done by a CRAZY person that killed his mom and took HER gun. The latest crazy attempted to kill his granny.

By your 1780s referrence, then a LOT of rights would not apply now! Everyone here beleives that common sense laws are ALREADY on the books. Apparently the CRIMANLS simply do NOT follow laws. Murder is illegal and carries the DEATH penalty. What penalty would you impose on an 18 y/o that has an AR(assuming they raise the age to 21). Will the penalty be worse than death?

Mental health is THE issue. Not sure how to solve it.....BUT holding the communist media accountable for their 24/7 hate fueled rants AND opening mental health facilities would be a good start.

Only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun!

Lets not forget how many innocents are killed by drunk drivers! Maybe we should ban all vehicles. How many TEENS die each year in automobiles? Lets raise the driving age to 21 too!?

The problem is they define a devout racist as anyone who votes for Trump and they define normal as a man who wears woman’s clothes. Just by wanting a gun they will call you mentally unstable.

A "LICENSED GUN DEALER" at a "FLEA MARKET???" Wow.

Last I heard, a FFL dealer can transfer firearms at his "licensed premises," or at a bona fide gun show. A flea market is not a gun show.

Flea markets, around here anyway, have a reputation for being great places to pick up stolen firearms with no questions asked.

Only thing I can say about this is those people are very very lucky, in fact I would say extremely lucky, they don't run across somebody like me at this point in my life. I have nothing really left to live for and I can guarantee the end results are not going to be pretty. You just don't get into people's faces that you don't know or do know for that matter and accuse them and threaten them over things you know absolutely nothing about. Some people may be just having a bad day but some of us have been having a bad decade and there's a whole hell of a lot of different when you open up that can of worms!

Neither cars NOR guns kill people. ''PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE''😮
