The tiny bit that it did go down......was because the states removed the state tax.

Some states may have lowered taxes but that is not the reason. Main stream media again is not telling us the truth.

People aren’t driving as much, taking oil out of strategic reserves. In Illinois they stopped the tax increase that was to take effect July 1st. a whole 2 cents. But check this out for Illinois politics. All gas stations have to post this tax break on every pump or face a $500 a day fine.

So are you saying that is a political move by Pritzker, waltermoe?

    Spot on Walter

"People aren't driving as much" This is the correct answer. In some areas consumption is down 40%. This is what the oil companies saying and corrupt media is not reporting.

With todays media what passes as "News" today is all about a political agenda rather than truth.

No......no.....no...........you guys have it all wrong.

The market is being manipulated by the Davos group (formerly known as the Illuminati). They take it up............then down...........up.................down............all to keep the proletariat off balance.

    Same with food procuction...........

They are manipulating the world to their end.

If anything, traffic has increased in my area. Like my friend says, people will drive themselves to the poorhouse.

An honest economics professor would agree with you, that gas price came down due to reduced demand, pure economics 101. But that is not the reason. Gas price is coming down because everything about the economy must be made to look better prior to the November mid-term elections. Have you noticed how in the last month or so the stock market has been giving signs of turning around? Be prepared for all the bad news to get better and better up to the election.

Yep supply & demand, in all honesty I dont foresee things improving at all.

Right now our farmers & ranchers are struggling. Fertilizer is near a dollar a pound, and the price of diesel fuel is at an all time high. Now toss in the high pressure ridge bringing record heat and no rain. Prices are going thru the roof for food.

Don't count those chickens before they hatch............the Dems are fuming at the mouth over recent Supreme court decisions.

Unless the silent majority of conservatives come out in force.............we may be overwhelmed by the crazy leftisit/ marxists.

Not a lot people are willing to invest in a business that the president has vowed to shut down, and now with a limited supply from just what we have now is risky. These permits you keep hearing about, they are only good I believe for twelve months, and there is no guarantee that you will find oil when you do drill a well, it may take several attempts. Millions of dollars are being invested by share holders, and like most people they don’t want to take a loss.

I don’t believe anyone ever built or created a business with the idea in mind, how many people can I employ, the idea is to be able to make a profit after covering your taxes and overhead.
