His voice mail is full and not taking any calls. I will give him a day or so. He is only open by appointment only. I may go out and see if his wife is there. maybe she can put the bug in his ear to get on the ball. I think 5 days is long enough to do a transfer. I have used him before and he was always dragging his feet saying he was just too busy. I am also curious as to what a person would do if their transfer come up missing. Any one got any history of this?

Road trip. If the business is physically closed, contact the BATF to see if it has been shutdown due to administrative action. If this is the case then the BATF will normally make arrangements with another dealer to handle pending transfers. Understand that this new dealer may be three counties away and charge $100 for the transfer. Good luck.

People do have things happen. Accidents, illness etc. Maybe something liker this and maybe not. All you can do is be proactive in making contact. His voice mail being full may be him just not addressing business or a sign something is wrong. I like your idea of giving it another day or so and going there appointment or not. If nothing else leave a note on the door.
