Should these lines be crossed, or do I have it all wrong?
The wife’s grandson is getting married this coming August, and the wife said that his fiancée is having a wedding shower, and I said that’s good, but then she said that I was also to attend. I told her that men don’t go to wedding showers, then she said that all these other woman that will be there are bring their husbands, again I said men don’t attend wedding showers. Then she said that times have changed, true times have changed, but I’m not going to no wedding shower. I mean what is next, you have to bring your fiancée now to your bachelor parties?
Maybe I’m wrong but to me somethings are sacred, in that men don’t go to wedding showers. So I’m asking this question here because I know some of you here are as old and traditional as I am. I’m NOT GOING.——- This is where your all suppose to jump in and have my back, tell me I’m right.

Don't go to that wedding shower.
And if you lie about an injury to get out of it, then you are a sissy and a wimp. Just tell the little lady, "No. I am not going. Going to drink a beer and watch a baseball game on ESPN. Y'all girls, have fun at the party."

I tell my wife that I'll go when it is a real shower!! I mean I want to see the young nubiles take a shower (like soap and water). She leaves me at home, and just smiles!!

Times have changed: Men are not supposed to use women's restrooms and women are not supposed to use men's restrooms, but thanks to Obama and the DEMOCRATs.... its now OK.

They know to not invite me to anything like that.
They would not even want me around.
Heck, sometimes I hear several months later about family re-unions that I was NOT told about.
I've purposely started fights at family re-unions. (so as I would not get invited again)
Seen on news lately that someone come up with a new explanation for being fatigued.
Called "COMPASSION FATIGUE"
That has got to be a Nancy that came up with that one.
