It did not. I know they lost Morton and Soroka but I’m still trying to figure out them calling up that Davidson kid to start last night.

That game was pretty much planned as a sacrifice from the get-go, using a rookie pitcher as a starter and followed up by a few not so good bull pen relievers. They want a completely well rested Fried and Ian Anderson for games 6 & 7, a couple of the better pitchers in baseball along with some pretty good relievers Jackson, Matzek and Smith to back them up. It does suck big time to see a Grand-Slam wasted......that for sure wasn't planned 😀. Win or lose the series I hope they have a new pitching coach next year, I'd even settle for next week 😊

One if not the cleanest played, friendliest competing teams (cities included) during a World Series I've ever watched, I tip my hat to both. Commissioner Manfred got the boo's he rightly deserved when presenting the WS trophy even in the losing teams city.....he disappeared from that stage fast, LOL.
