Sounds like a broken or worn magazine catch. You might want to do a google search. I just checked Numrich and they are out of stock. Bob

A little more information might be helpful to those trying to troubleshoot the problem.
Is the gun new to you, or have you had it for some time?
Has it always done this, or is this something new?
Factory or aftermarket mags?

Some mags are extended mags that use a collar at the bottom of the mag. If that is what you have, the collar is missing.
