I did it again
I've been around the sun 73 times as of 5:53 this morning. It's been a long ride, but at least I'm still plugging along.

Not really, if the grass dries up I might go out and mow all 6 acres. Maybe. It really needs it. It's rained almost every day for over a week now and the grass is really going to make a mess after cutting it that long.
Update: I got the tractor out, and mowed in front of the house which is on a grade and not too soggy. Then I tried to mow the flatlands, big mistake, left a lot of R4 tracks in the grass.
Then the man that owns the woods on the other side of the creek to the east of me, pulled up with his truck and started to tie his buck down on his extended platform. It was a pretty good-sized 7 pointer. He was looking in the opposite direction when he heard a rustling behind him. So he turned around and shot him. He said it took off and went about 60 yards before it dropped.

Actually, I can. It was just a couple of hours ago that I had my last piece of Birthday peach pie. But don't ask me what I had for supper last night. 😀

Congrats. I can't decide if 70+ makes us a codger or a geezer, but either way, it's damn near old. (Coming up on 75 myself.)
