Always carry 2. That way at the end of the fight you each have one,,,

Hi Ricci! Even though I did win one of your nice knife giveaways some time ago, please put me in on the new giveaway! 😁

Here are some favorites, from granddad's homemade piece to an obsidian knapped piece to a one-off field knife by my buddy Jens Klaar, to granddad's daily carry Marbles, to another pretty knapped obsidian piece.

The bottom one is actually from a tourist shop here in town, remarkably well made. The top one is by my friend Brian at Lithic Productions.

This is my latest knife. It's a mini Infidel by Benchmade.

I have a pig sticker or two or three.....hundred, along with over 50 swords.

I quit buying anything new a few years ago.

Have not seen anything I wanted.

I have more knives than I can carry with me. Yet I still consider myself a gun guy.

Here's a pawn shop buy I made a couple of years ago. Made by an old friend, Lloyd Hale, in about 1974. Never carried, or used. Fits the hand like it was built just for me.

Just recently retired my Emmerson Commander from my daily carry. The locking system started to scare me (too much wobble) because my meat hooks rode the liner lock. I remembered Michael Janich's Yojimbo made by Spyderco a few years ago that I liked even though the blade was a little short. I looked to see if he made a 2.0 and Spyderco put out the Yojumbo which was the ticket for me. Just about 1/2" longer then the Commander and the Yojumbo had the compression lock (liner lock closer to the palm) so my booger hook was away from the liner lock.

Liked it so much I got couple to give away as Christmas gift in '21. Pinch flick the handle down to deploy is a hit or a miss because the G10 handles are so light. A little grinding on the heel of the blade so it stopped bumping my finger when depressing the compression lock. I found out by pinching the safety I can deploy the blade with just a flick of the wrist.

Also the big butt box cutter blade is good.
