Forgot to mention, that I'm happy as can be, that Dumb Dawg, "The Bounty Hunter", didn't find him.
He had to bow out after a day or two of searching, due to a twisted ankle. 😂

...Sad part is, this dirt bag destroyed two familes...
...The guy was a waste of good air, no loss...but, I'd rather have seen him suffer the next 50 years in prison...with the video I saw of him, he didnt exactly give off a "Im a man" vibe....really sissy acting...he'd have been a hit in prison...Bubba would have loved him...

Exactly what crime did the parents commit? I've read a lot of speculation by a lot of folks with no knowledge of what these people knew or when they may have known it.. We don't send people to prison in speculation. So what exactly is their crime?

Well, the parents met with him at De Soto park in St. Pete after the fact for a quite while at the time of his disappearance claimed to know nothing, hindered the investigation , looks like accessory after the fact in a murder case.
I wonder if he died by his own hand or possibly exposure. ............ I'm good either way.

We do not know what he told his parents. I doubt he told them he had killed his girlfriend. I assume they figured it out when he left and didn't return. We have no way of knowing what they may have suspected before that. They told the police he went hiking and where. He in fact went where they said he did and his body was found there. It certainly isn't their fault, or anyone's fault, it took so long to find his body. The only thing I have read they did was say he left on one day then say he left another day, the day before or the day after I can't remember which, but that could just be an honest mistake. I certainly make mistakes like that and in reality it made no difference as apparently he was already dead in the place they said he went.

A b/f g/f situation who went on a road trip, and only the b/f returned home.......in her vehicle. Once back home, he disappeared. Parents covered for him.
Both are now dead.
I guess I'm lost. When did the parents cover for him? He went hiking. The parents told the police he went hiking and told them where. He was found where the parent said he went.

It may have been that way. But I haven't read anything to draw that conclusion not matter how much I would suspect it. I do not know what he told his parents. He could have told them anything including she ran off with a biker or took a bus to New York where her mother lived. Initially the parents would not necessarily suspect what they no doubt figured out. I'm guessing, and it's just a guess, he walked off and killed himself rather than tell his family or be around when they found out, as he knew the truth was on it's way.
Two families kicked and torn and he took the easy way out.
