    Well look at it like this. Spending more Social Security.. it will just run out quicker.. but don't worry the country will just print more money.

    The working folks that were/are forced to contribute to SS as mentioned by Dano haven't had a raise in a LONG time. All OUR money is going to those that don't work.

    You know I sold a home thru a bank to a young person.. They needed collateral to make payments just in case something came up... normally about 6 months. This country is credit card broke. Three months at a time to determine if they can shuffle money around to stay open. Talk about hypocrites.. they don't even follow their own rules. We really really need someone who knows how to pay bills, cut scrap out and get us back the way it use to be.

    I've said it before select-fire, if I handled my money like the government, I would be living on the street. Credit cards have a max limit - unless you print your own money.

    I was at a camera show in chitcago back in the 90's. I had a woman come to my table and wanted to buy a new Pentax camera. She pulled out a credit card, I called it in and it was denied. Then she said "try this one, it was denied, she said well try this one. Finally, the 3rd card went through.

    I had to bite my tongue, I wanted to tell her if she would pay off her cards this wouldn't happen. I had several through the years that were denied, but hers was the most memorable.

    You may or may not be surprised how many people live day to day relying on their credit cards to get through the week.
