Reloading components
I just did an "in stock" check at a local big chain store for primers and powder. There were only two items in stock. Hodgdon TITEGROUP 1 lb, and Hodgdon BL-C2 1 lb. They did have 21 offerings for in stock bullets and brass.
There were three items but before I got this posting done there were only two.

Hit the lead shot jackpot the other day. Fellow had six 25 lb bags Lawrence extra hard. They now sit in my ready room at 40.00 a bag.

Went to the Crystal river gun show this past weekend. There was one private seller there that had a few small pistol primers. Nobody else had any primers or powder.
I asked him how much and he said 50.00 for 100. I passed. He told me that it was the going price and I should be lucky to get them.

Scout, what was the price on the Titegroup? It’s usually a little cheaper than others around here.

I am stocked up on powder and primers. I have plenty of bullets and brass but I am worried about getting more. This has caused me to shoot less than I used to.
I still shoot alot of 22lr because I have so much. I have a few bags of shot but I haven't seen any supplies in a long time.
The last guy that sold Black Powder and reloading stuff around me has gone out of business and he was 30 miles away. The Gun shops here don't carry reloading components and if they do its just a few things.
50 bucks for 100 primers is insane. I have primers I got for less that 30 buck a case of 1000. But if there are none for sale that might not be a bad price.
The last time I bought primers was about 8 years ago and I got a big bunch on the internet, I think it was from Widners. Now they don't even sell powder or primers that I can tell.

The Titegroup was 27 dollars for a pound but it isn't there today. Today they have one "in store" listing and that is for CCI small pistol primers. However when you look it up it shows "out of stock", so today they have none.
I was just curious, though I would have bought a few things if they were in stock.

Looking on the auction side it looks like the going price of primers is between $14-$20 per 100.
That is steep IMO.
Gunpowder is crazy too.
I remember the last jug of gunpowder I bought was VV N130 I think. It came in a 2# can and I paid about $55 for it. The only reason I go it was because my 6mmBR really liked some I tried from a fellow shooter.

I have bought titegroup in the past few years for ~$20 plus tax. If I needed more, $27 wouldn’t be out of line. I have walked away from $40/1000 primers but would pay that now.
