I live my own life. I'm not concerned with the doings of the 'elite' nor am I eating the tripe the media tries to feed me.
I learned a lot from my father and 'be your own dog' is the best lesson I ever learned.
Same here. My Grandpa was a poor saw miller and share cropper from Louisa County, Virginia. Was in the Calvary in WW1 in France. He could do anything/fix anything. Never even had a car. Never needed anyone to teach him how to think. If he had had a chain saw he could have been a millionaire but money was not his goal. He raised up seven children who always had enough to eat and clothes on their back.
When he died his obit was a couple of lines " One of the most respected men in this county." I learned a lot from him----------Ray
