I can only imagine what a challenge it is for a sow to keep even 1 cub alive and well for 2 1/2 years. I nominate #399 for mother of the decade! Someone else can pin the ribbon on her though.

I have a BIL that lives in Driggs Idaho and one that lives in Sheridan Wyoming, been out there several times, sure is beautiful out there.

We used to live six miles north of Driggs, but you are correct both Teton valley with the view and access to the Teton and Big Hole ranges and Sheridan with the view and access to the north Big Horns are very nice.
Teton valley’s winters are considerably more harsh, longer, and more snow depth than Sheridan.
