You’d have to ask it of course, but it probably identifies as a democrat.

That proves it. A bear really does crap in the woods.

Looks like yogi done his business. Any sasquach sightings in your area?

What food is in season, any corn piles?

When bears are overeating something, corn, apples, poke berries, and such, about half of what they eat goes straight through them.

Watch out if the are eating apples, ground will have piles of apple sauce close to the food source.😲

Bears around here will raid a corn patch, eat what they want then waller down and scat the rest.

What’s eerie is it wasn’t there when I walked by about 2 hours before

I was going to say it doesn't look that old. Given the locale I'd say bear. Deer will pass loose stool like that if they are eating green soy beans or something similar but it's to big of a pile for a deer. Unless there are elk or cattle or other large creatures around that leaves a bear. Hoofed critters that large should have left some prints, even in the leaves, as fresh as it is.

I know that area around Rich Mtn. We trained Ranger Students in that area when we were using the northern training area.

Is that a muzzle loader you have in the 1st pic?

Possible sit still nests, but lacking the paper marker.

It should be lots shiner than that for fresh black bear. I was gonna say at least 24 hours old. This pile is an hour old.
