O.K. I can't figure out the reason for the thumb trigger unless it is for a handicapped shooter. Are there other reasons, and if so please enlighten me. Bob

This is a high quality rifle too......on top of being ahead of the curve and possibly giving some California guys more options. Its VERY well built with no "cheap" corners cut on anything. Whoever gets this is going to be VERY happy once they get their hands on it.

Winchester made a thumb trigger rifle a long time ago. The concept apparently didn't catch on.

...He's correct in saying "its not another AR"...its ugly...they need to hang a few split rings on it, add 3-4 rails, so they can hang some more crap off it...I like my AR triggers where they're at...I have no doubt the sales of this "cool" rifle will overtake the sales of conventional AR's in no time!...not....

I'd like to try one just to see if is more or less accurate based on trigger function using thumb... not interested enough to buy one, but I would like to try it.

While I'm sure it's possible It would be a lot harder to catch the trigger on something.

At one time a firearm was set off by touching a hand held match to the powder. I for one am glad someone tried something new. Of course just because something is new doesn't mean it's better but new things have to be tried. Old ideas and designs that didn't pan out at the time are often found useful when combined with new technology. I hope someone I know buys one of these so I can try it out on their dime instead on mine.
