These rifles work well. I much prefer them to the Remington semi-auto.

You know about opinions, I'm sure. I have never been enamored by them. Rather have a nice bolt or lever action.

Years ago a young fella came running up to me after I heard three shots all huffing and puffing and out of breath and a good dose of Buck fever. Of course I was pretty young then also. He said "did you see that Spike, did you see that Spike." I looked down and he still had his finger on the trigger.

I made up my mind that day to stay the hell off of DEC state land in the Southern Zone and as far away as I could get from a Browning BAR 30-06. With only one exception my Pre-64 Model 70 FW 30-06 seemed to get the job done with only one shot at all the many, many deer i ever shot.

BAR not for me but a nice piece. Should do well. ----------Ray

That is a beautiful rifle, and I wanted one for a while just because my dad carried one in WWII. But My needs have changed and I really don't need any more weapons. Good luck with that one Ricci.

Browning's are beautiful rifles. I have a BLR in .308 and it's also a beauty and accurate to boot.

My dad had that one's twin brother but sporting a Weaver K-4. I had gotten it for him as a Christmas gift about 1974 or so. My step-mother decided he was done hunting and made him sell it in about the mid '80's. She let it go for $200... Aarrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!

Sexy, bumped it to keep a closer eye on it.

I have one in 7 Rem mag with a boss system, and it's mate in .243.

Also have a BLR in .270.

They all have a place, and do their, (not there, ;}) job, superbly.

Edit: sorry, I'm no Ricci or Kasey, in the photo department

And, that's my daughter's BPS in 20 gauge.

At least you don’t lay them on a tile floor to take pictures of them while wearing your clown socks…..😁

Ricci, we need to find you some level ground onto which you can lay rifles like these for photos.

I have never put a level on it but I'm pretty sure the top of my desk is level.

Yup!! Just checked it with a peanut M&M and it is dead on.

I always thought one in 338 Win Mag would be a great Grizzly rifle.
