just got back........
from the local gun shop, the new mossberg 28ga came in. it is purrrttttyyyyy hope it shoots as good as it looks. gotta take the grandson to the dentist in the next hour so won't get to shoot it till tomorrow. Kinda feel like a kid at christmas I may even get up early tomorrow!!!!!!! dug out about 60-70 shells some low brass, high, from 4 shot to 7 1/2, will she how she runs them tomorrow am gonna drink a few beers this evening so I will have a few targets for tomorrow.

Of all the guns I purchased lately, one of the best deals was for a Mossberg Patriot I gave my grandson. It is a great shooter, and It is a good looker too. Hope you are as satisfied with your shotgun.

I actually saw some 28ga. at the Walmart the other day.

28 gauge make for a good rabbit gun, and beer cans make good targets for shotguns. It would be a toss up whether I’ve killed more rabbits or beer cans with mine. But above all have fun.

Around here beer cans carry a dime deposit so empty bean cans suffice for this frugal target shooter!

Uh, I think you need a new scope, red dot or sight adjustment. Too many fliers on that Quaker! But that is a good idea if you eat enough oats.
