It's a good bet it's labeled with "this side toward enemy".

Sounds nice hillbille. I do not own any 28 ga.'s.

    Got some 20 ga's.

    A few (a'hem) 12 ga.'s.

Been a 4-10 guy just about ever since I could walk but have had the notion to give a 28 ga. a try someday!

Sounds like you did good with your selling & buying there hillbille ! I look forward to hearing how she shoots and handles for you!

I just learned something the other day: .410 is 36 gauge.

I have several 28 ga and love to shoot them (all O/Us).

I have a 12 ga Browning B2000, and thought it would be nice to have the 20 ga, version.Looked off and on for 2 years and finally found one, I have yet to shoot it (to cold).

    Next I will be looking for a 28 ga in a semi-auto.

I have heard that shells are cheaper for the 28 than the .410 which are pretty pricey.

pricey if you can even find them. Had a fellow walk up to the table and we were talking about the 28ga loader I had and wondered if I had a 410 loader. He was braggin about just buying his wife a box of 410 slugs, 5 slugs for $15!!!! said he had been looking for over a year, at that price I think I would buy her something else to hunt with....... and the 28's around here anyway are roughly the same price as 20 and 12, only you can't hardly find 20 gauge either....

Call me crazy, but I still think the Taurus Raging Judge XXVIII would've been fun.

I had a Taurus Raging Hornet and a Taurus Raging Bee. I'm still kicking myself for selling them. Fun guns to shoot, but were just too heavy. Both had 10" barrels. I used them for squirrel hunting.
