There is NO way an officer climbed onto the roof with the help of another officer, unless said officer was 8 foot tall. That was a TWO story building. All BS stories from the powers to be, trying to cover their own butts!

Filthy corrupt partisan media is running in maximum overdrive providing cover for another Biden blunder.

All we actually know is that Donald Trump was shot.

I saw interviews where people said "yeah, I saw the shooter on the roof!". Well, why didn't one of these people yell "shooter", then? Why didn't one (or many) do everything possible to get someone's attention and try to ensure DJT and the audience's safety? Hmm?

I refuse to drink anything the media is selling regardless of the color of the can it's delivered in. We've all been lied to for so long and from all sides that anything the media says should be assumed to be a load of fertilizer. Reagan liked the phrase "trust but verify". Today, the phrase is simply "verify" which is near impossible given the disinformation and biases that all media adhere to.

    Search for the videos!

They DID yell there is a man on the roof.....he has a gun!

They yelled this several times while also yelling.....officer, officer!

That is recorded on a cell phone, with the shooter on the roof crawling closer to the pitch.

LEO was informed of this man THIRTY mins before the shooting. One LEO even took a picture of the man to "pass up the chain". They claim to have lost sight of him.

So, we KNOW he tried to kill Trump, and we KNOW that several attendees point out the fact that there was a man on the roof with a gun.

    Good to KNOW.

But man, I am so jaded and suspicious of 'facts' and of 'news' these days. I know video can be modified, audio can be faked, etc. I have to disengage from it all and believe that because of the years of misinformation and anti-American biases, the profound idiocy called 'media' is lying to me somehow.

I used to be a trusting person but now, out of trying to preserve my sanity, I've become a terrible cynic who doesn't watch the news. I didn't even know DJT was plinked until sometime Sunday evening.

I don't think there was a conspiracy at play, though. I think law enforcement and protective services are completely and utterly hamstrung by the thought of making a mistake. If they do, they get vilified and their personal lives get destroyed. When that happens over and over and over again, hesitation sets in and acting on instinct and intuition and training goes bye-bye.

All said, I'm, glad DJT is OK. I'm glad he stood tall in defiance to the attempt. That was impressive to say the least. Let's hope its enough to get him beyond the reach of liberal ballot box stuffing and in the White House again.

I too have a HEALTHY disdain for the "media." I beleive these videos because social media is trying to remove them ASAP. There are MULTIPLE reports that this "man" was a suspicious person at least THREE hours before the shooting. There is undeniable proof(IMHO) that the shooter was spotted and attendees TRIED to get LEO help(be it local or SS).

IMHO the HEAD of the secret service created the scenario where this could happen. There is NO WAY in the world that ANY specialist would say leaving ALL those roofs unattended was a sound decision. They only needed ONE person to sit on that LARGE buildings roof, and that would have covered all those roof tops, including the one he shot from.

There was a reason those roof tops were left unguarded, NO WAY they were that incompetent (SS or local LEO).

    That bit is indeed puzzling.

The Secret Service let him shoot. With out Trump democracy is saved. This has set up written all over it.

Every new report makes the Secret Service look more and more like The Keystone Cops. Joe let Jill pick the leader. Maybe he was testing the SCOTUS immunity decision.

While I'm not completely discounting some kind of deep state conspiracy (they despise Trump), I firmly believe that SS is truly THAT inept, and maybe have been, since their inception.

Looking back 60+ yrs ago, even if you don't believe Oswald acted alone, how was he able to secure the perfect position to fire down on Kennedy's motorcade?

Hinckley simply merged into a small group of people, mingling with Reagan's detail, and opened fire.

This latest killer was stopped at the gate while trying to enter the venue, with a rangefinder! Then he was seen crawling on the ground, then photographed with his photo circulated to the detail. He was observed by dozens of attendees and law enforcement, with a rifle, and still not stopped, until he had killed.

None of these shooters were mental giants, with specialized training, or high tech weapons and optics. They weren't elite assassins, operating as a heavily armed team, with inside knowledge of procedures and protocols. They were just smarter than the world's preeminent security force. Doesn't say much for SS. :-(

"You would think the cop who confronted the shooter on the roof would've did a mag dump."

From the more detailed pics and layout I saw, doing so would have resulted in bullets flying in the general direction of the crowd. Not sure a 'mag dump' was the appropriate response but neither was running away.

So many things about this scenario point toward a 'set up' or outright incompetence. No over watch from the water tower. Two counter sniper teams arrayed to watch an open field occupied by already 'vetted' crowd. The amateurish comment that the 'slanted roof' was too dangerous for a SS counter sniper team to use. The slow response to reports of an unknown person with a rifle on that same roof. The obviously poorly trained and/or incapable agents assigned to President Trump's security detail. All these things are questionable.

The shooter was a few feet higher than the officer because of the slope of the roof. The shots would probably have gone over the crowd.

^^^Apparently/unfortunately, the cop(s) didn't go to the other side of the building where there was a LADDER in plain sight. DUH!!!!!

One of the excuses used was lack of communication between local fuzz and Federal fuzz. That's EXTREMELY QUESTIONABLE—surely there's a common or shared frequency that could be used or at minimum monitored by all agencies. A spotter & radio man team on the water tower would have prevented the problem.

Long ago and far away we had a radio man who talked to the 'eye in the sky' where a plane load of techs sorted info and distributed it as needed. Pretty low tech equipment that coordinated ground pounders, air assets, and artillery.

Technically we don't know when the ladder got there or if it was the one Crooks allegedly purchased that morning. It could belong to law enforcement. In some of the pictures, they had clearly been up there because the shooter's rifle was about ten feet from him.

There was a video which hadn't been shown yet newly posted on Fox news today 7/24.

It was taken from the trees behind the AGR building where the crowd was trying to report the shooter.

It seemed to show the shooter fired three aimed shots, then five as fast as he could pull the trigger.

You would think the USSS sniper would have fired after the first shot.

You would think they would neutralize a sniper who was firing into a crowd, presidential candidate or no presidential candidate.

Yet apparently they never got around to firing if news reports are to be believed.

NOT if they'd been told not to look that direction. It's difficult to believe that this level of ineptitude is not intentional. Also consider that those 'dedicated' Secret Service agents may owe their dedication to someone other than DJT.

What if the counter snipers were 'ordered' to allow the shooter to get off a flurry of shots before making sure he couldn't testify against ??? if captured?

That's exactly what I think the orders were.

If that's the case, I think it will eventually come out. May take a while but someone will still the beans.

I dunno, we're still waiting on the truth about JFK.

Telling the truth will have the same answer every time.

Telling lie will have a little bit different answer ever time.

Easy to figure out what is what on this one.

Mobuck  - Dude, cops often do mag dumps on "perps". Hell they reload and dump that, too. After the fact they have round counts in the 70s with three cops on the scene.

As for the counter sniper slow to return fire maybe the shooter was hard to find on that near flat "sloped" roof?

They get into dude's phone to see who was communicating with him? Did they scrub cheadle's instructions to the shooter?

The newest video(exclusive to fox news) shows the perspective of one of the wounded. You can CLEARLY see the shooter running across the roof THREE minutes BEFORE the shooting. No way in H E double hockey sticks that the SS snipers couldnt see that too!
