Wish me luck! Update
Going in at 0830 tomorrow morning to get my right shoulder surgeryized. I've got numerous small tears in the rotater cuff, at least two muscle/tendon tears, some bone spurs, and some arthritis buildup that they're gonna whittle on. Supposed to be in a sling for the next six weeks. Should be a good time! Looking forward to the rehab and hopefully not being in constant pain.
Well, got back home about 1 and doc said things went very well. It was more tore up in there than the MRI showed, but he was able to get it patched up. Now for 6 weeks in a sling (ugh!) and light exercise followed by some physical therapy. Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes!

Been there done that. Do exactly what you are supposed to do during recovery and rehab to make sure you don't have to do it again.

Have a couple of friends that had it done, they seem to be alright now. As far as pain, don’t be afraid to ask for pain medication if there’s pain involved. There is no need to be in pain these days. Good luck, and I will include you in my prayers tonight.

Had a total reverse shoulder replacement in August of 23 . Best thing I did in a while

About 16 years ago I had a "level-3 shoulder clean out" done. If it was any more extensive......a shoulder replacement would have been required.
Years on......and adding other injuries/wear-outs......the racquetball is pretty much over. But I'm ok........for my age.🙄😇
